I had been busy lately after my 1st exam paper. The next day, I had to go for Sundown Festival 2012 press conference and during night time, went to French Couture Week(30 Nov 2012) for Fashion Runway shoot. Tons of photo to be edit. The following day, I went …
for the actual event of Sundown Festival 2012 (behind flyer, beside F1 Pit). Then again, another set of many photos to be edit. But before I heading home, my friends message me whether I want to watch movie (Rurouni Kenshin Live-Action movie from an anime) at Bugis+(formerly Illuma) about 12midnight. So I went to watch with them. At the start, I hope I do not fall asleep during the movie but in the end, I am awake thru out the movie. It is quite a nice movie since I only watch the anime about the first few episodes.
And the next day(2 Dec), I went for the last day of French Couture Week; After Party for a shoot.
It was a great photography days and I still got a long way to learn on taking fashion runway photographs. There are many aspects to take note of and pay attention with.
The most troublesome and painful part is when I am editing the photos on Monday on my DIY computer. It auto shutdown. Lucky it is not the harddisk that gives me the problem but it is still sad. My computer the processor chip got burnt. Immediately doing recovery of data from harddisk to my laptop.(plug in my external sata harddisk enclosure) The DIY computer had last me for about 7-8 years since my polytechnic days. Only changes made are the graphic cards(2 times) and memory(2 memory slot and upgrade size). Using WinXP and run on 1GB RAM survives till now.

The weather this week is wet. It had been raining inconsistent during the afternoon or late afternoon. Currently busy with school assignments and my study period had extended to Saturday. Life of a student pursuing degree course in Singapore is tough but still manageable if we had proper time management with life and hobbies.

0This is my primary school anthem. I still remembers it. But the school is not there anymore. Removed from the MOE school listing. The above video is created by one of the AV crew of CLPS ( Chong Li Primary School ) I think. I’m from the 92-97 batch. Not very sure when CLPS had been removed since I had move house due to En-Bloc. Goodbye ECP McDonald’s

Went to East Coast Park McDonald’s a day before the actual closing date, 19 March 2012 0000hr. It has been a long journey for the ECP branch since 1982. Even though I don’t live near there but I had some fading memories during my primary school days in the 90s. Stuff like school outing was held there. At my final year in primary school, we had book a chalet near to marine cove for the celebration of getting our PSLE result. Those were the days which I will hold closely to my heart.

Sardine in Bus Stop

Photo credits to Loh Yong Jia — FacebookThis bus stop is always packed like a Sardine in a Can at this few timing of a day, so does the bus stop in front of Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) too.
>> 11.30am plus, 3pm plus, 6.15pm plus.
The amount of people is getting more and more overs the years due to that stretch of road links up with many schools like Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, etc. Buses coming near/into these few bus stop had to slower down even more as the area is packed to the edge of the yellow line indicted on the floor. Dangerous for the students and the bus driver.
Hope someone can do something about it to help save the Lives or the bus driver.
Get to public

Went downstair to NTUC to buy some food. Saw a group of National Solidarity Party (NSP) members beside AMK Hub & Cheers. They are giving mandarin orange to public and public is taking photograph with them. There is some chitchat with the public as Chinese New year is 2 days later.
Shift The Old

The colorful building at Rochor road is about to demolished for the new expressway, North South Expressway. It has create a buzz in Singapore.
So many places need to be remove. First is Bukit Brown, now is Rochor Centre. Nanyang Pho Leng Building, Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home, and Victoria Street Wholesale Centre will also be gone.

Smrt Train breakdown along North-South Line
0In last than a week, 2 incidents happened with relate to SMRT. 14 Dec 2011: Circle Line Breakdown & the current one.
After i bought dinner for my family at around 7pm+, i saw in my twitter that news of SMRT train along north-south line breakdown is flooding tremendously. I started to monitor the news. At around 8pm+, there are photos coming in from twitter.
News of train breakdown along with no lights, no air-conditioning within the train, starts to surface from Twitter with more details. There are people trying to force open the train door and there is a door glass been destroy for better air ventilation. Passenger are asked to walk to the nearest train station like Dhoby Ghaut Station. Many of the commuter are angry with the service provided at the control station. After 9.30pm, there are news of it been broadcast on Ch5 & Ch8. At around 11pm+, one of the news reporter from Primetime Asia says “Are we allow to report this?” in reference to a radio DJ Hosan Leong and what happened to him just a few days ago, reporting the delays on the Circle Line before a Press Statement was released.
I also saw from forum and twitter, there are some photos been edited to a poster just for laugh. But there is a certain photo been circulating about the SMRT Taxi on-board display which has the words “Income Opportunity” which anger even more netizens. Yahoo! Singapore Newsroom sent the message:
With regard to the photo posted below of the message in the SMRT taxi, we have confirmation of its legitimacy and a statement from an SMRT spokesperson:
“We are sorry for the oversight. Our staff used a template and we have since corrected it.”
The spokesperson also said that their taxi staff sent out a wrongly-worded message, and that they have since spoken to them to change it.
“Twitter, this social media is fastest than the speed of light. There are pros and cons in it depend on how one uses it OR who is the one using it”

Busy with school (Sem 1 : A)

A mini blog post on life. School life starts to get more and more busy in November and December. With tons of assingments and test & exam incoming. Had on-hold or postpone some events/photography slot to after Dec 9. Last night, i just had a massive migraine. May be i had overstress myself with study last week as it is my term break. Mass overload with coding in C++ and number theory. My personal life nothing special except on study, assignments and revise notes. Today will continue round 2 of blogging before i revise my study and my assignments.
New Start New Chapter
0Another fresh starts for me after October 2011. I must better complete the whole course in 1 year as i am extempted for 1st & 2nd year, in SIM UOW. Every 3 month got 2 module, there are exam, class test, assignment and exam. School fee is every 3 month. Final Year project is the last 3 month. Age is catching up. Better secure my future. A degree. A job. A goal. A girlfriend (if have).
Everything we do in life, there is a word to describe it. “Depend“. There is no correct answer in life. This word is taught by my professor.
